An author, struggling to find inspiration for his next book, returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot, a place he remembers fondly from his childhood. However, upon arriving, he notices that the town is not as he left it. The residents are on edge, and a sense of dread hangs in the air. The townspeople seem to be living in fear, and it becomes clear that something sinister is happening.
